I may be partial to all black outfits, but every now and then I like to throw in a shade of grey. When it comes to basic dresses, Wonderland Honolulu is my first stop, and I thought I'd style this bodycon number a bit different than normal.
Skintight dresses tend to lean on the sexier side of the spectrum, but this piece is so comfy that I wanted to be able to wear it without having to throw on a pair of heels. Enter the Dr. Martens, black fedora, and black cardigan 'round the waist. While I dig the outfit all on its own, nothing quite says #GIRLBOSS like a briefcase. The businesslike feel of this leather backpack from ASOS ups the ante, dontcha think?
Funny how accessories can take something provocative and turn it tough and almost androgynous-looking. That's the thing I love about fashion - wear what you want, how you want, when you want. The same dress can be so many different dresses depending on how you style it.
