My birthday was August 25th, so this year (2016), my fiancé brought me to Ambergris Caye, San Pedro, Belize to celebrate. I really wanted to travel someplace where I could relax and do a lot of outdoor activities, so this little island couldn’t have been more perfect. We stayed at the Cocotal Inn & Cabanas for one week swimming every single day and also snuck in some kayaking, snorkeling in the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, swimming with sharks in Shark Ray Alley, hiking the Xunantunich Mayan Ruins, and cave tubing in Belmopan. I was almost eaten to death by mosquitos, but I can honestly say that Belize is probably the most naturally beautiful place I’ve ever been to. There was so much to do and see, I put together a travel guide/travel diary of my birthday trip. Hope you enjoy watching as much as I did making this video!
